NBA Athlete Number 35 - Kevin Durant

Some people might think it's a little too early in his career to name Kevin Durant the best NBA athlete to ever wear the jersey number 35.  I'd say those people should think again.  It ain't too early.

Durant has played in four NBA seasons as of this post.  And he's dominated in all four.  "Durantula" has led the NBA in scoring for the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons with 2,472 and 2,161 points respectively.  Still think it's too early to name him the best to wear 35?

He's led the NBA in free throws for the past two seasons.  Still too early?

He was the 2007-08 NBA Rookie of the Year after scoring 1,624 points in Seattle.
