Shocking many of his fans no doubt, LeBron James announced that he will no longer wear the jersey number 23. In homage to Michael Jordan, LeBron will change his jersey number from number 23 to number 6 after this season. LeBron believes, as do many Bulls fans most likely, that Michael Jordan's jersey number 23 should be retired due to his contributions to the NBA. LeBron might want to pick another jersey number than 6, based on that reasoning. There was another NBA Hall of Famer that had a monumental impact on the league who wore number 6.
