One of the best NFL athletes to ever grace the gridiron, Brett Favre is by far the best athlete to ever wear the NFL jersey number 4. Many may consider Favre the best professional athlete overall to wear the number 4, although we give that honor to another athlete.
Favre plays with a ferocity nearly unmatched by any NFL athlete. His durability speaks to his athleticism and commitment to the game. His numbers speak to how great a player he is.
- Most career touchdowns - 436 (as of November 24, 2007)
- Most career completions - 5312 (as of November 24, 2007)
- NFL MVP (A.P.) three times - (1995, 1996, and 1997)
- Second in career passing yards - 60,856 (as of November 24, 2007)
- Eight time Pro-Bowler
Did you know......Brett Favre began his career as an Atlanta Falcon?

HANDS down the best to wear the number 4. Applie pie, Fireworks and Brett Favre.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I don't like the Packers, mostly because of all the times Favre beat the Niners in the playoffs, I respect the hell out of Favre.
ReplyDeletesecond for me would be Lou Gehrig, with an honorable mention going to Paul Molitor.
Also, did you know that Brett Favre's first completion was to. . . Brett Favre?!
ReplyDeleteSorry, Favre's great, but Bobby Orr was even better.
ReplyDeleteHE WEARS #4 BECAUSE OF BOBBY ORR
ReplyDeleteThere was only one #4 - Bobby Orr (and this from a guy that hates the Bruins).
