Hines Ward, the veteran wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is the best professional athlete to ever wear the jersey number 86. Hines, appropriately named for a Pittsburgh athlete - even if spelled a little different than the ketchup company from the same city, has been to four Pro Bowls (2001-2004,) in his career. He was the MVP of Super Bowl XL. Three times, he was a Pittsburgh Steeler MVP. Ward had four consecutive 1,000 yard receiving seasons, and is currently the Steelers all-time leader in receptions.
Did you know.....Hines owns a bar in Pittsburgh named "The Locker Room?"

Really? Nobody better? Some numbers are better than others. Good site, BTW.

I think Hines Ward is extremely underrated as a wide receiver, look how many different mediocre Quarterbacks he had to deal with over his career and he stills posts phenomenol numbers. Also, The Locker Room is down the block from me, it smells like Cheetos.
ReplyDeleteIF YOU THOUGHT THAT I WAS ECSTATIC ABOUT THE OTHER STEELER PLAYERS THEN U OBVIOUSLY DONT KNOW ME VERY WELL. HINES WARD IS THE BEST WIDE RECEIVER TO EVER PLAY THE GAME OF FOOTBALL AND IS THE GREATEST MAN TO EVER STEP FOOT ON THIS EARTH, OTHER THAN JESUS OF COURSE. HE IS AN EXCELLENT PERSON AND IS MY ROLE MODEL IN LIFE AND IN FOOTBALL.
ReplyDeleteThe Pittsburgh Steelers are the best football team in HISTORY.Nothing else to say STEELERS ALL THE WAY BABY WOOOOOOOOOOH.
ReplyDeleteThe best wide receiver ever?! He's good but he ain't no Lynn Swann or John Stallworth! Let alone Jerry Rice! I Realize this is about the number and he may be the best #86 receiver, but not the best receiver ever!
